Davenport’s Legacy will Last Forever as she Departs Temple Volleyball

PHILADELPHIA – After spending one year on the Temple Volleyball staff as a graduate assistant, one of the most historic student-athletes in program history will depart on a new journey.
"Taylor has made her mark on Temple Volleyball in such a profound way, not only as a player, but also as a coach. She has broken and set records throughout her time donning the Cherry & White, which helped set the standard of all Owls to come. While on staff, Taylor was able to connect with the current student-athletes and help guide them in such a unique way," said head coach Linda Hampton-Keith.
Davenport sits sixth all-time in Temple history in kills (1,552) in the four years she played from 2020-24. She also is top ten in both solo, assisted, and total blocks. In three of her seasons, Davenport's name is represented three times in single season kills leaders for the year. She holds the fourth, fifth, and eighth spots on that list tallying 451, 438, and 411 kills, respectively.
Davenport will be continuing her graduate studies at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she will be pursuing a doctorate in occupational therapy.
