DUPREE GARNERS FOURTH BIG FIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK HONOR

PHILADELPHIA- After averaging 23 points and 12.5 rebounds per game to lead the #17 Owls to wins over St. Bonaventure and Dayton, Candice Dupree has been named the Big 5 Player of the Week for the week ending February 21. This is Dupree's fourth Big 5 Player of the Week honor this season.
Against St. Bonaventure, Dupree scored her 1,000th career point as she notched 21 points and 13 rebounds in the win. The junior center recorded her 12th double-double of the season against Dayton, scoring 25 points and grabbing 12 boards. Dupree leads the Owls in scoring and rebounding with 16.4 ppg and 9.4 rpg.
The Owls have just two more games remaining in the regular season. Temple will go for the Big 5 title in its last game of the season at Saint Joe's on February 27. The game will be shown live on CN8 at 2 p.m.
