TRIO OF OWLS COMPETE AT LAST CHANCE INVITATIONAL

NEW YORK, NY -- Three Temple athletes competed on Friday at the Last Chance Invitational, hosted by NYU at the Armory Track and Field Center in New York City. Freshman Rahmel Huffman cleared 6'5" in the high jump to place seventh. It was just a 1/2 inch off a season-best for the Long Island native.
Senior Steven Johnson competed in the long jump with a leap of 21'11 3/4" to place 11th. On the women's side, freshman Noelle McKenzie was the only competitor for the Owls. She had a season-best in the triple jump (34-11) to finish sixth.
The Cherry and White return to action next weekend at the ECAC/IC4A Championships in Boston, Mass.
