PHILADELPHIA -- Senior Rachel Clinton and junior Wendell Raulston were named to the indoor track Academic All-Atlantic 10 team in voting conducted by the league's sports information directors, the conference announced today.
Raulston finished third in the high jump at the A-10 Indoor Championships. He also posted the seventh best high jump in the conference this season. A native of Wilmington, Del., Raulston had a 3.73 grade point average as a Film and Media Arts major.
Clinton won her third straight individual championship in the 55m hurdles at the Atlantic 10 Indoor Track Championships on February 19. Already an ECAC qualifier in the 55m hurdles and 60m hurdles, Clinton is approaching NCAA provisional qualifying marks in both events. It is the second time that she has been honored on the academic all-conference team. The Columbia, Md. native is an Elementary Education major with a 3.83 grade point average.
Temple returns to action this Saturday at the ECAC/IC4A Championships at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center in Boston, Mass.
