ALBRIGHT RETURNS TO MEET IC4A STANDARDS IN 110M HURDLES

PRINCETON, NJ -- Senior Jonathan Albright made his first appearance in the outdoor season after fighting injury and made his mark at the Princeton Invitational on Saturday. Albright met IC4A qualifying standards in the 110m hurdles and missed NCAA Regional qualifying by just 0.02 by finishing second in the event in an Atlantic 10 best time of 14.35. The 4x100 relay team also reached IC4A qualifying standards by finishing third in a time of 42.03.
Senior Steven Johnson and freshman Marcos Edghill finished one-two in the 100m with times of 11.19 and 11.28, respectively. Junior David Jackson placed fourth in the 200m (22.15) and the 4x400 relay placed fifth (3:22.75).
Several Temple athletes will compete at the prestigious Penn Relays at Franklin Field from Wednesday to Saturday.
