VOLLEYBALL SHUT OUT 3-0 BY KANSAS

LAWRENCE, KS - Temple continued to struggle at the Pizza Hut Jayhawk Invitational, dropping its final game to host Kansas, 3-0. The Owls, who have lost six straight after beginning the season with a 3-0 record, were outscored 23-30, 22-30 and 23-30 in the three games. The Jayhawks improve to 8-1 on the season.
Zhen Jia Liu led Temple with 11 kills, while Linsey Morningstar was tops on the team in assists, dishing 16. Ying Sun Ling tallied 14 digs as Temple's defensive specialist.Yue Liu earned a season-high three block solos, which accounted for half of Temple's six total team blocks. The sophomore was also named to the Pizza Hut Jayhawk Invitational's All-Tournament Team.
Temple returns home to take on Delaware on Tuesday night at 7 p.m.
