VOLLEYBALL WINS THIRD STRAIGHT TO EVEN RECORD

NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J.- Christina DeMarco continued to be an offensive force for the Owls, earning 13 kills and just three errors for a .500 attacking percentage, as Temple defeated Harvard 3-1 in the final match of the Rutgers Embassy Suites Invitational.  The Owls, who have won three straight matches to even out the season with a 7-7 record, topped the Crimson (2-2) 30-20, 26-30, 30-12 and 30-23.

Jessica Waybrant led all players with 14 kills, while Maira Mogollon led in assists with 38.  Mogollon also had five service aces.  Ying Sun Ling, who was named to the All-Tournament Team, posted a team-high 13 digs.  Zhen Jia Liu joined Ling on the All-Tournament team after registering a 10 dig, four service ace performance.

The Owls return home to McGonigle Hall next weekend when they open up Atlantic 10 play against Saint Louis on Friday at 7 p.m. and Duquesne on Saturday at 4 p.m.
