MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY COMPETES FOR FIRST TIME IN 20 YEARS

HAVERFORD, PA -- The Temple men's cross country team took to the hill and dale for the first time in twenty years at Friday's unscored Haverford Invitational. Freshman Adin Mickle paced the Owls by finishing in a time of 21:59.30, which was good for 59th place. TU competed against Villanova, Haverford, Swarthmore, Elizabethtown, New Jersey, and Widener.

Freshman Oluwaseun Ognnjemilusi was Temple's second finisher, completing the course in a time of 22:45.70 (84th). He was followed by freshman Daniel Bezotsky (23:04.50, 92nd), junior Dave D'Adderio (23:07.50, 93rd), and freshman Jim Waddington (23:50.20, 105th).

Bob Curtis, running unattached, topped the field of 120 in a time of 19:54.50. The Owls return to action on October 8 at the Monmouth Invitational.
