PHILADELPHIA- After leading #17 Temple to big wins over #9 Rutgers and A-10 rival Xavier, Candice Dupree has been voted the Big 5 Player of the Week for the third time this season.

The senior All-America candidate shot just under 50% on the week as her team recorded its first victory over a Top 10 ranked team in school history. Dupree had 14 points on 7-for-17 shooting against Rutgers, allowing Temple to snap the Scarlet Knights' 20-home game winning streak. In Sunday's 67-62 win over Xavier, Dupree led three Owls in double figures with 22 points and had a game-high five blocks. The win also ended the Musketeers' 19 consecutive home victory stretch.

Dupree is averaging 16.4 ppg in leading the Owls' to a 14-4 overall record, a 5-1 mark in the Atlantic 10 and a 3-0 record in Big Five play.
