Temple Freshmen Shine At North American Cup

ALBUQUERQUE, NM - Temple University freshmen Melissa Parker and Kristin Howell competed in The United States Fencing Association's North American Cup, held in Albuquerque, NM, this past weekend. The tournament involved the top Under-20 fencers in the country.

Parker was a finalist in the Junior Foil competition, placing third out of a total of 137 competitors. In the Junior Epee competition Howell reached the semi-finals, placing 16th among 134 competitors.

Temple next competes at the NIWFA Christmas Invitational in Teaneck, NJ on December 3.
