RALEIGH, N.C.-Temple (3-2) will look to close out its four-game road trip with a win when it travels to NC State (5-2) on Saturday at 2 p.m. The Owls hope to improve their record to 2-1 against ACC teams this season. After topping Georgia Tech, 76-62, on November 20, the Owls loss to the Cavaliers on Wednesday night evened the record at 1-1.

Nikitta Gartrell scored 13 points and Keisha Brown added 11 points to lead NC State to a 53-41 victory over South Carolina in a tough-shooting night for both teams at Reynolds Coliseum Wednesday night. NC State (5-2) shot 52.1 percent from the floor in the second half to pull away after both teams went into halftime tied 18-18. Kamesha Hairston netted 30 points, including a game-high 22 in the first half, in Nov. 29's game at Virginia. This is Hairston's second career 30 point game. In her sophomore season, the forward netted 31 points to lead Temple to victory over Xavier (1/30/05). What Sophomore Slump?
