Schifferle and Nacey Represent Owls at North American Cup

RICHMOND, VA - On their fifth competition day of the season, freshman fencer Abigail Schifferle produced a solid showing in the Division I Women's Foil event while junior fencer Marla Nacy performed well in the Division I Women's Epee event at the United States Fencing Association's North American Cup.

Schifferle, a Chico Calif. native, placed 82nd among all foilists at the event held in Richmond.

Nacey, a Rochester, N.Y. native placed 95th among all epeeists.

The women's fencing team resumes action on Sunday, January 7, for the annual Alumnae Meet held in McGonigle Hall.
