PHILADELPHIA- After leading Temple to a 1-1 week, a week in which she averaged a double-double, senior All-America candidate Candice Dupree was named the Big Five Player of the Week. This is the fifth honor of the year for the Tampa, Fla. native.

Dupree netted 17 points and grabbed 10 boards in a loss to George Washington and poured in 27 points and pulled down 14 rebounds in a win over Rhode Island. Dupree had a double double before entering the locker room at half time against the Rams with 16 points and 11 rebounds. She also averaged 3 blocks on the week denying two shots against GW and rejecting four against URI.
