MEN'S TRACK OPENS OUTDOOR SEASON AT MONMOUTH

WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ - The Temple men's track and field season opened the outdoor season on Saturday at the Monmouth Season Opener with some promising results. Freshman Adin Mickle was 16th in the 10,000m in a time of 34:21.80 and classmate Mitch Stroh finished 21st in the 1500m (4:15.50). Both times were personal bests.  In the field events, freshman Joshua Louis was fifth in the high jump after clearing 6-2.

Senior Dave D'Addario was 29th in the 1500m (4:17.68) and Louis was 22nd in the 400m hurdles (59.61). The sprint medley relay placed fourth and 4x400 relay finished ninth. Freshman Dan Bezotsky set new personal bests in the 800m (2:04.81, 31st), 1500m (4:20.15, 34th) and 5000m (17:03.00, 41st).

Temple is back on the oval on Saturday, April 1 at the Terrapin Invitational at the University of Maryland.
