REMMERT NAMED OWLSPORTS.COM ATHLETE OF THE MONTH FOR FEBRUARY

PHILADELPHIA - Senior Jenna Remmert, who recently qualified for the NCAA Championships for the fourth straight season, was named the Owlsports.com Athlete of the Month for February. The senior compiled a 29-1 record during the month and led the Owls to the NIWFA Foil Championship.
Remmert, a team captain, opened the month with a 15-0 record at the Temple Invitational and continued a week later with a 14-1 mark at the Duke Invitational. She led Temple to the team foil title at the event.
On February 26, Remmert finished seventh individually at the NIWFA Championship at Tufts. The Haskell, N.J. has continued her success even after the month of February ended. She earned an automatic bid to the NCAA Championship by finishing fourth at the Mid-Atlantic/South Regional on March 5. Remmert has qualified for NCAAs during every year at Temple.
The NCAA Championships will be held from March 16-19 in Houston.
