MEN'S VARSITY FOUR WITH COXSWAIN EARNS BRONZE MEDAL AT IRA REGATTA

COLLINGSWOOD, NJ - The Temple men's varsity four w/coxswain earned a bronze medal at the 2006 IRA Regatta Saturday on the Cooper River.  The IRA Regatta serves as the National Championship for men's crew.

In a tight race early on,Stanford pulled away in the 2nd 500 meters followed by California and Temple. The Owl crew was comprised of sophomore coxswain James Baraldi, sophomore stroke Thomas Haubrich, sophomore Robert Protesto (3-seat), junior Dante Cammarata (2-seat) and sophomore bow James Harding.  

"It was a really great effort for a boat with four sophomores and one junior,' said head coach Gavin White.
