RINEHART LEADS MEN'S HARRIERS AGAIN; OWLS PLACE EIGHTH AT FORDHAM

BRONX, NY - Freshman Dan Rinehart led Temple for the second straight week as the men's cross country team finished eighth out of 19 teams at the Fordham Invitational at Van Cortlandt Park on Saturday. Rinehart placed 29th in the field of 180 in a time of 27:29 in his second collegiate race.
Senior Dave D'Addario was second for the Owls, finishing 58th in a time of 28:26. Sophomores Jim Waddington (71st, 28:46), Adam Moffit (72nd, 28:49) and Adin Mickle (97th, 29:44) rounded out the top five for the Cherry and White.
Fairleigh Dickinson's Samuel Chelanga won the overall title with a time of 25:13.63, and Navy (36) edged Penn (46) for the team title. Temple finished ahead of Atlantic 10 rivals Fordham and St. Bonaventure.
The Owls return to action next Saturday, September 16, at the Monmouth Invitational.
