Brunson Added To Philadelphia 76ers Training Camp Roster

PHILADELPHIA - Former Temple great Rick Brunson has been added to the Philadelphia 76ers training camp roster. Brunson, who played alongside Eddie Jones and Aaron McKie while at Temple in the mid-90s, has played the last nine seasons in the NBA.
The 34-year-old Brunson, who resides in Cherry Hill, N.J., played last season for the Seattle Supersonics and the Houston Rockets, getting into 27 games overall. He averaged 2.0 points and 1.3 assists.
For his career, Brunson has played in 337 NBA games, averaging 3.2 points and 2.6 assists. Besides Seattle and Houston his NBA stops include Portland (twice), New York (twice), Chicago (twice), Boston, Toronto and the Los Angeles Clippers.
He also played for one season in Australia and parts of three seasons in the Continental Basketball Association.
It will be Brunson's second chance to make the Sixers' roster. As a rookie in 1995, he participated in the Sixers' training camp but was the team's final cut before the start of the regular season.
