TEMPLE LOSES SECOND OF THE NIGHT TO MISSOURI STATE 3-0

SALT LAKE CITY, UT - Temple gave up three quick games to Missouri State in its second game in the Utah Tournament, falling to the Bears, 3-0. Yue Liu lead the team again with nine kills, but the Bears outhit TU, 47-32. They took the match by the scores of 30-18, 30-14 and 30-25.
Libero Katrina Mullins racked up a team-high of 16 digs. Even with the defense, Missouri State overpowered the Cherry and White as Erin O'Connor and Jamie Adams both had 12 kills to push their team to victory. Patricia Vernon made an impact at the net compliling two blocks and five kills and Ying Sun Ling had seven kills.
Temple fallls to 5-4 and finish the tournament off with a match against Utah State at 2 pm tomorrow (EDT).
