Zhang Voted Atlantic 10 Rookie Of The Week

PHILADELPHIA- Sophomore Yun Yi Zhang has been selected Atlantic 10 Volleyball Rookie of the Week for the week ending October 7. This is the first Conference honor of her career.
Zhang had 48 kills and just 19 errors to lead Temple in losses to No. 15 Dayton on Oct. 5 and Xavier on Oct. 6 She posted a double-double with 15 kills and 10 digs versus Dayton and then followed that up with a career-high 33 kills and just eight errors for a .403 hitting percentage in a 3-2 loss versus Xavier.
The Owls are back in action tomorrow when they host La Salle at 7 p.m.
