Winter Skill Camp Dates Announced

PHILADELPHIA - Temple head baseball coach Rob Valli is proud to announce the dates for this winter's Rob Valli Baseball Skills Camps at Temple University. The hitting camp will run from 9:00 AM to noon and the pitchers/catchers camp will run from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Friday, December 28 and Saturday, December 29.
The Rob Valli Baseball Camps are dedicated to providing each camper with individualized instruction in a team setting. Our facilities, coaching staff, and passion for the game of baseball guarantees rapid improvement. Fundamental drills, hard work, and game situations are emphasized throughout the camp. Special attention to drill sequences and progression allow for daily improvement.

Hitting Camp
December 28-29 • 9:00 AM - Noon
• In depth instruction and drill sequences designed to build solid mechanics to produce a consistent swing through muscle memory
• Drills to improve balance, weight transfer, hand eye coordination, bat speed, and opposite field hitting
• Situational hitting including bunting
• Emphasis on hitting the off speed pitch
• Mental preparation and hitting approach in all pitch counts
Pitchers & Catchers Camp
December 28-29 • 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
• In depth instruction and drill sequences designed to build solid pitching mechanics to produce consistent velocity, movement, and location
• Drill sequences for bullpen and long toss that will make your pitches more effective
• Arm care and injury prevention techniques through in/off season conditioning programs
• Catchers will catch approximately 60% and hit 40%
• Drill sequences to improve receiving, blocking, and throwing to bases
• Fielding bunts, pop ups, tag plays at the plate, and calling the game will be include

Our staff includes coaches from the University of Delaware, Gloucester CC, Rider, Rutgers and West Chester.
Campers must be attending grades 7 through 12
• Instruction by college coaches and professional scouts
