Men's Cross Country Wraps Up Season At IC4As

BRONX, NY - Junior Adin Mickle finished 23rd to lead Temple to a 14th place finish at the IC4A Championship, University Division, on Saturday morning at Van Cortlandt Park in New York City. Mickle covered the 8k course in a time of 26:45.
Freshman Charles Goold was 77th (27:40) and classmate Clarke Hunt finished 82nd (27:46). Freshman Mike May (83rd, 27:47), Eric Conklin (85th, 27:49) and Ryan Feehery (105th, 28:14) rounded out the Owls' top five runners.
Albany's Ricardo Estermera won the individual race in a time of 25:35. New Hampshire (62) edged Army (67) for the team title. Binghamton (151), Bucknell (178) and Manhattan (197) rounded out the top five.
The future is bright for the Temple cross country team, who returns all its letterwinners for next season, its fourth in varsity competition after resuming the program in 2005.
