PHILADELPHIA - Temple will visit Lehigh on Tuesday, April 3, in the semifinals of the Liberty Bell Classic. First pitch is set for 3:30 PM. The winner of the game will meet the victor of the Lafayette-Penn semifinal on Tuesday, April 10 at Citizens Bank Park, the home of the Philadelphia Phillies.

The last time Temple reached the semifinals of the Liberty Bell Classic was in 2003. TU defeated Penn, 7-4, on April 1, 2003 and the next day, downed Saint Joseph's, 5-3, at Veterans Stadium to win its third LBC title. Lehigh has one championship, coming in 2004.

The Owls have advanced to five LBC championship games (1996, 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2003), winning the tournament in 1996, 2000 and 2003. Lehigh made its only appearance in 2004 when it defeated Villanova, 11-3.

The Owls first will travel to La Salle for a three-game Atlantic 10 series beginning on Friday. Game time is 3:00 PM.
