Edghill Leads Temple At Princeton's Larry Ellis Invite

PRINCETON, NJ - Junior Marcos Edghill recorded four top ten finishes to lead Temple at the Larry Ellis Invitational on Saturday at Princeton. He was seventh in the triple jump (43-3 1/4), eighth in the 110m hurdles (15.15), eighth in the 100m (10.99) and ninth in the 200m (22.27). Junior Andrew Fries won the javelin with a distance of 186-5.
Other top ten finishes were turned in by freshman Brad McFadden, who was tenth in the 400m hurdles (56.35), and classmate Grant West, who was ninth in the hammer throw (152-2). Freshman Tim Boeni was ninth in the long jump (21-9 1/2) as well.
Sophomore Bryce Buffaloe was tenth in the hammer throw (146-9), and classmate Joshua Louis finished fifth in the high jump (6-4 1/4).
Temple will send several competitors to the Penn Relays beginning on Thursday.
