Women's Basketball Opens The Atlantic 10 Schedule At Dayton

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple women's basketball team opens the 2007-08 Atlantic 10 Conference schedule on January 12 at Dayton, as the University announced its entire slate for the upcoming season. The Owls released their non-conference opponents, highlighted by six 2007 NCAA Tournament teams, in early August.
Temple will face off against each A-10 opponent once while taking on Philadelphia-rival Saint Joseph's twice for a total of 14 league games.
The Owls begin home A-10 competition on January 15 against St. Bonaventure and then host powerhouse George Washington on January 19. Saint Joseph's, Charlotte, Duquesne and Fordham will also visit the Liacouras Center. The game against Fordham will be a double-header with the Temple men's team. The Cherry and White end the regular season with a home game against Massachusetts on March 1.
The 2008 Atlantic 10 Championship will be held at Saint Joseph's Alumni Memorial Fieldhouse, March 7-10.
