Temple Drops Match to Georgia Tech And #10 Michigan, 3-0

Philadelphia- An injury-laden Temple volleyball squad (3-10) suffered yet another setback, dropping matches, 3-0, to Georgia Tech (5-3) and host #10 Michigan (11-0)on day one of the Michigan Tournament.
In the match against Georgia Tech, the Cherry and White struggled offensively, falling 30-14 and 30-16 in games one and two, respectively. They attempted to make a comeback in game three but fell short, 30-22.
Yue Liu had 10 kills and seven digs, while Caitlin Loudon dished 15 assists.
Against 10th-ranked Michigan, Yue Yi Zhang posted a double-double of 14 kills and 13 digs, while Sun Ying Ling contributed 13 digs but it wasn't enough as Temple fell 30-18, 30-14 and 30-19.
Loudon dished 18 assists and Imani Harper had a career-high five block assists.
The Owls will face Utah Valley on day 2 at 5:00 p.m.
