NEW YORK, NY - Senior Marquise Stancil met the IC4A qualifying standard in the 500m (1:03.71) and freshman Charles Goold broke the school record in the 3000m (8:45.82) as the Temple men's track team competed at the unscored Great Dane Classic on Friday. Stancil finished third in the 500m while Goold was seventh in the 3000m.

Sophomore Tim Boeni placed third in the long jump (23-0 3/4), while junior Bryce Buffaloe also was third in the weight throw (54-8 3/4).

Sophomore David Stonfer also had a strong showing in the 500m, finishing seventh in a time of 1:05.51. Junior Jason Sullivan was ninth in the 800m (1:56.90).

Temple returns to action next Saturday at the Delaware Invitational.
