Cross Country Competes at Paul Short Invitational

BETHLEHEM, PA - The Temple men's cross country team ran against some of the best teams in the nation on Friday afternoon at the 35th annual Paul Short Invitational on the Goodman Campus of Lehigh University.
Racing against one of the country's largest fields, sophomore Michael May and freshman Travis Mahoney were the top finishers for the Cherry and White, placing 74th and 152nd respectively.
As a team, the Owls finished 36th in a field of 45 teams.
May covered the 8K course in a time of 24:56 to lead the Owls while Mahoney covered the track in 25:42. Rounding out the top five finishers for the Owls were sophomore Eric Conklin (205th/26:13), sophomore Clarke Hunt (231st/26:41) and freshman Brian Ledder (269th/27:37).
The Owls return to action on Saturday, October 18th when they compete in the Princeton Invitational.
