PHILADELPHIA - Four Temple University men's soccer players received Atlantic 10 post season honors today as the league announced its all-conference teams. Junior J.T. Noone earned first team All-Atlantic 10 Conference as well as joining teammate and fellow junior Matt Chevrollier on the league's Academic All-Conference. Senior James Suevo and freshman Tyler Witmer were named to second team all-conference with Witmer also garnering all-Rookie honors.

Noone, a native of Harrisburg, Pa (Central Dauphin), posted record breaking numbers this season for the Owls. His 12 assists set a school mark, breaking the previous mark of nine set by Tony Donatelli in 2004. A starter in every game for the Cherry and White, Noone led the Atlantic 10 in assists and assists per game, as well as ranking third nationally in assists per game. The midfielder tallied seven goals, and led the team in points with 26.

An economics major, Noone boasts a 3.88 cumulative GPA, earning him a spot on the academic all-conference team. The junior can add this to his already impressive resume that includes a spot on the ESPN The Magazine's Academic All-District 2 University Division First Team.

Witmer made his mark in his first college season, leading the Owls in goals with eight. He was honored as Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week three times, twice in the month of September. A graduate of Conrad Weiser High in Wernersville, Pa, Witmer was ranked fifth in the A-10 in goals scored, and eighth in points with 17.

Suevo, a Philadelphia native (Calvert Christian Academy), spearheaded an Owl defensive unit that recorded nine shutouts while allowing 0.89 goals against average.

Chevrollier, a finance major, has earned a 3.77 cumulative GPA. A starter in 17 games, the midfielder tallied a goal and two assists for the Cherry and White this season.

The Owls will play the highest seed remaining after Thursday's quarterfinal round on Friday night at 8:30 p.m., in the Atlantic 10 Tournament.
