Men's Cross Country Runs At Mid-Atlantic Regional

PRINCETON, NJ - Sophomore Mike May finished 71st to lead Temple to a 20th place showing at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional on Saturday at Princeton University. May covered the 10k course in a time of 34:47. May's 71st place finish and the team's 20th place finish are both regional championship highs for the program after reviving the sport in 2005.
Freshman Travis Mahoney finished second for Temple and 86th overall (35:02). Sophomore Eric Conklin (119th, 36:24), freshman David Walters (130st, 36:46) and senior Jim Waddington (134th, 36:51) rounded out the TU top five.
Georgetown's Andrew Bumbalough earned the individual title with a first-place time of 31:36. The Hoyas also captured the team championship with 27 points.
The Owls will finish the season on Saturday at the IC4A Championships.
