PHILADELPHIA - Temple head baseball coach Rob Valli is proud to announce the dates for this winter's baseball camps at Temple University. Hitters, pitchers, and catchers camps will be offered on December 27-28, while the pre-season skills camp will run on five consecutive Sundays from January 18 until February 15. All camps will take place at McGonigle Hall on Temple's campus.

Hitters Camps / $100
December 27-28 • 9:00 am - Noon
• In-depth instruction and drill sequences designed to build mechanics to produce a consistent swing through muscle memory. Topics include: balance and weight transfer; hand eye coordination; bat speed; opposite field hitting; situational hitting and bunting; mental preparation and approach; hitting the curveball.
• Students in grades 7-12.
Pitchers Camps / $100
December 27-28 • 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
• In-depth instruction and drill sequences designed to build consistent pitching mechanics that will make your pitches more effective. Topics include: velocity/movement/location; bullpen and long toss programs; arm care and injury-prevention techniques.
• Students in grades 7-12.
Catchers Camps / $100
December 27-28 • 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
• In depth instruction and drill sequences designed to improve: receiving; blocking; throwing to bases; fielding bunts; pop-ups; tag plays; calling the game.
• Students in grades 7-12.
Preseason Skills Camp / $225
Sundays, January 18, 25, February 1, 8, 15 • 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
• Students in grades 9-12
• Each session will be high energy practice designed to provide individualized instruction in at your primary position.
• Strength, speed training, nutrition, recruiting and the mental game of baseball will also be addressed
