Cotton Named Philadelphia Big Five Player Of The Week

PHILADELPHIA- After scoring a career-high 23 points in a big win over Toledo, senior Shanea Cotton was named the Philadelphia Big Five Player of the Week. This is the first Big Five honor of Cottons career.
Cotton was nearly unstoppable on December 10 against the Rockets, going 10-for-15 from the field and 3-of-4 from the free throw line. She added eight rebounds, three blocks, two assists and two steals to her all-star performance. The senior leads Temple in scoring, averaging 14.1 ppg. Cotton also has a team-best 13 blocks.
