KINGSTON, RI - The Temple men's indoor track team tied its best-ever performance at the Atlantic 10 Championship with a fourth place showing on Saturday at Rhode Island's Mackal Fieldhouse. Sophomore Tim Boeni led the way with a second (long jump, 23-1 /4), fourth (high jump, 6-4 1/4) and sixth (200m, 22.72) place finish.

Senior Marquise Stancil also had a strong showing, finishing second in the 500m with an IC4A qualifying time of 1:04.46 and eighth in the 200m (22.93). He also ran the lead leg of the exciting 4x400 relay in which the Owls finished just 0.11 behind city-rival La Salle with a time of 3:20.46.

"I thought it was a great effort from the guys," head coach Stefanie Scalessa said. "It is definitely the direction we want to continue in."
