Buffaloe Sets New Weight Throw Record At NYU FastTrack

NEW YORK, NY - Junior Bryce Buffaloe broke his own school record in the weight throw (57-9) and bettered his IC4A qualifying distance on Friday at the NYU FastTrack Invitational at the New York City Armory. The distance was over two inches better than his previous distance, set last weekend at A-10s.
Junior Jason Sullivan finished eighth in the 500m (1:05.24) and met IC4A standards by 0.01. Sophomore David Stonfer set a season-best time in the 400m (50.04) to place 40th in a competitive field.
Freshmen Charles Goold (8:50.23, 20th) and Mike May (8:51.26, 22nd) also have impressive showings in the 3000m run. Senior Marcos Edghill was ninth in the 60m hurdles (8.53).
Freshman Miles Dryden was seventh in the long jump (22-5 1/4) and classmate Kijaun Wilkinson was also seventh in the triple jump (46-5 1/2).
Temple will wrap up its indoor season next weekend at the IC4A Championship at Boston University.
