Temple Crew Alum Nate Dirvin Helps Rescue Six-Year Old Boy

PHILADELPHIA - Temple alum and former rower Nate Dirvin helped save the life of a six-year old boy saturday afternoon. Dirvin, a 2004 Temple alum, and another bystander jumped into the Schuykill River when a car carrying the six-year old plunged into the river. After several attempts, Dirvin and the other man were able to pull the child to safety. The boy was rushed to St. Christopher's Hospital where he's in critical condition.
