Men's Track Competes At Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA - Sophomore Brad McFadden met IC4A standards in the 400m hurdles for the second time this spring as the Temple men's track team competed at the Penn Relays on Thursday at Franklin Field. McFadden finished 60th in a time of 53.93 to lead the Owls.
Sophomore Tim Boeni finished 14th in the long jump (22-10 1/2) to wrap up individual action at the Penn Relays.
The 4x400 relay comprised of junior Darnell Bowser, junior Jason Sullivan, junior Mitch Stroh and sophomore David Stonfer placed sixth in the Wetzler/Pennsylvania heat with a time of 3:19.35.
The 4x200 relay of senior Marcos Edghill, freshman Miles Dryden, Stonfer and Boeni was 29th in 1:27.37.
On the women's side, the 4x200 relay of senior Cheryl Anscombe, junior Carlleen Allison, freshman Paris Williams and junior Rose Drayton placed 36th in 1:41.73.
The sprint medley relay of Anscombe, Allison, Williams and senior Noelle McKenzie placed 18th in 4:04.57.
Action resumes at the Penn Relays on Saturday. The Owls will also send competitors to the Lions Invitational at the College of New Jersey.
