Morrison Named To Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Volleyball Team

PHILADELPHIA- Junior volleyball standout Jackie Morrison was named to the Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Volleyball Team. Morrison is one of six student-athletes selected to the squad. The team is voted on by the sports information offices of the 28 area institutions from the Philadelphia metropolitan area.
This is the second academic honor of the season for Morrison, who earned Atlantic 10 Academic honors in November.
A speech language and hearing science major, Morrison currently carries a 3.83 cumulative grade point average. Twice voted to the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll, she was named to Temple's President's Honor Roll as well as the Trustee Ten, given to athletes with the athletic department's Top 10 GPA's. Morrison has played in nearly every match of her career and leads Temple with 1147 assists, which ranked eighth on TU's all-time career assist list.
