Temple Crew Set To Host 6th Annual Temple University Coxswains' Clinic

PHILADELPHIA Highlighted by appearances from 2008 Gold Medalist and National Team Coxswain Mary Whipple and Bronze Medalist Marcus McElhenny, the 6th Annual Temple University Coxswains Clinic is set to take place on Saturday, January 31st from Kiva Auditorium on the campus of Temple University from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
One of the top coxswains clinics in the Northeast, the event will cover safety, steering, motivation, racing as well as other aspects of the coxswain position. In addition to the clinic, small group sessions with Whipple and McElhenny will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Thanks to clinic sponsor Nielsen-Kellerman, the first 150 to register for the Coxswains’ Clinic will be entered into a raffle that includes prizes such as a new Cox Box Complete System ($649), a Regatta NW Flotation Suit ($260), an Interval 2000 Split/Rate Watch ($139), and much more.
