Penetar and May finish two-three to lead Owls to first title
New York, NY – For the first time since the revival of the program, the Temple men's cross country team took the University Section title at the IC4A Championships, held Saturday morning in Van Cortland Park in the Bronx, NY. The Owls were led by juniors Eddie Penetar and Mike May, finishing second and third, respectively.
“For our young team to do such a great job this season was tremendous,” commented coach Matt Jelley. “They really did get the program moving in the right direction.”
Also making a top-10 finish was sophomore Travis Mahoney (6th), while senior Adin Mickle (25th) rounded out the top-25.
