Jackie Morrison Named to CoSIDA Academic All-District Volleyball Team

PHILADELPHIA – Temple senior Jackie Morrison has been named to the CoSIDA/ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District second team for volleyball.
With a cumulative grade-point-average of 3.85 as a communication science major, Morrison earns the honor for the first time in her career as an Owl. The setter leads the team and ranks fourth in the Atlantic 10 in assists per set at 9.65, and has recorded 11 double-doubles this season with seven of them coming in the last eight matches.
Morrison's 2.81 digs per set average is third on the team, as are her 42 blocks this season. Morrison is the team captain for the Owls, and was an A-10 All-Academic selection as a junior. For the past two years, she has been honored as one of TU's Trustee Ten, a distinction given to student-athletes with the top 10 GPA's in the department.
