Owls have earned the honor in three out of four weeks so far

PHILADELPHIA - Senior women's basketball player LaKeisha Eaddy has been named the Big 5 Player of the Week, as announced on Dec. 7. The honor has been given out four times this season, with Temple now earning it three times.
Eaddy led Temple with 16 points as the Owls earned a big win on the road at Rutgers, 62-51 on Dec. 2. She shot 67 percent from the field, going 6-for-9 including 2-of-3 from three-point range.
Eaddy also recorded two rebounds, one steal, and tied for team-high honors by dishing out three assists.
The win snapped a three-game losing streak vs. Rutgers dating back to 2006, and was TU's first win over Rutgers in Eaddy's career as an Owl.
Temple (6-1) is getting set to play Hampton (2-4) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday in its first of three games this week.
