Owls Finish Strong At Bucknell Winter Classic

LEWISBURG, PA - The Temple men's track team had a solid showing at this Saturday's Bucknell Winter Classic in Lewisburg, Pa. Sophomore Kijaun Wilkenson was the Owls top finisher, placing second in the triple jump with a distance of 13.47m.
Senior Tim Boeni performed well in the high jump, clearing 1.89m and placing third. Also taking a third place finish on the day was junior Grant West, with a 16.70m toss in the weight throw.
Other notable performances on the day came from Jason Sullivan in the 1000m (5th, 2:34.61), Jim Waddington in the same event (6th, 2:36.69), and Geoffrey Bartletta in the mile run (5th, 4:26.23).
The Cherry and White head to Kingston, RI, to compete in the Atlantic 10 Championships beginning February 20th to the 21st.
