NEW YORK, NY - The Temple men's track team put on a solid showing against some of the toughest competition in the nation this weekend at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational, held in New York City. Sophomores Tim Boeni, Miles Dryden, and Aaron Taylor were among the top performers, with Boeni and Dryden meeting IC4A qualifying marks.
Boeni placed fifth in the long jump with an IC4A qualifying distance of 23-05.25. Dryden also competed in the event, placing eighth and nearly missing IC4A marks with a distance of 23-00.50. Taylor saved his best for the 800m, finishing 13th in his heat with a time of 1:54.09, good enough for IC4A marks.
