Come Support The Temple Women's Basketball Team At The 2009 NCAA Selection Monday Party

PHILADELPHIA-Come support the Temple women's basketball team as it awaits its placement and seeding in the 2009 NCAA Tournament. The Temple team, pep band and cheerleaders will host a Selection Monday party on March 16 in the Fox Gittis Room in the lobby of the Liacouras Center. The party is open to the public and begins at 6:30 p.m. The selection show airs live on ESPN at 7 p.m.
Temple finished the season with a 21-9 record and an 11-3 mark in A-10 play. Senior Shenita Landry was voted the A-10's Most Improved Player and earned a spot on the Conference's Second Team and All-Defensive Team. Junior LaKeisha Eaddy was also named Second Team All-Atlantic 10 and All-Defensive Team and freshman Kristen McCarthy was selected to the All-Rookie Team.
