Track Teams Move Forward in ECAC/IC4A Championships

BOSTON, MA - The Temple men's and women's ECAC/IC4A qualifiers competed in the first day of the championships today in Boston. Day one of the meet was highlighted by finals-qualifying times from 500m runners Brittany OgunMokun, Paris Williams, and Tashima Stephens. The women also qualified their 4x400 team, with contributed efforts from Devon DuPont and the trio of 500m qualifiers.
The men's 4x400m team nearly made the finals, running 3:15.08 and placing 11th. Marquise Stancil also gave a spirited effort, running a personal best 1:03.08 in the 500m placing 12th.
Action continues tomorrow when Joshua Louis competes in the high jump, and school record holder Amanda Cole takes her turn in the weight throw.
