PHILADELPHIAAfter leading the United States Men. Eight rowing team to gold in the 2004 Olympic Games, former Temple Owl Jason Read (00) and the rest of the mens eight were voted one of the USOC Most Amazing Moments in Olympic History. The crew, who set a world record of five minutes and 19.85 seconds in a preliminary heat, gave the United States its first Olympic gold since 1964.
