Keogh Named To Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Team

PHILADELPHIA - Temple sophomore Bob Keogh was named to the Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area team, it was announced today. He is one of 10 student-athletes named to the team voted by the sports information offices at the 28 institutions in the Philadelphia metropolitan area.

Keogh was an IC4A qualifier in the hammer throw, finishing 12th with a distance of 56.57m. He placed third at A-10s in the event with a distance of 56.50m.

A University Studies major, Keogh owns a 3.56 grade point average. He is joined on the team by Rutgers-Camden's Frank Iwanicki (POY) and Travis Stewart, Gwynedd Mercy's Dan Geary, Rowan's Greg Kucynski, Haverford's Andrew Lanham, Dan O'Toole and Chaz Thomas, Saint Joseph's Will Rowland and La Salle's Andrew Wagoner.
