Owls manage seven shots in contest

Norfolk, Va. – The Temple men's soccer team battled a tough William & Mary team Friday afternoon in the opening game of the STIHL Classic. The game remained scorless until the 66th minute, when the Tribe's Thomas Price tallied the eventual game winner, leading William & Mary to a 2-0 victory.

Tribe forward Andrew Hoxie would add an insurance goal in the 86th minute.

Owls' keeper Bret Mollon was huge for TU in the first half, making three saves to keep the Tribe off of the scoreboard. Mollon would make four saves on the game, allowing two goals.

Leading the way on offense for the Cherry and White was junior Jared Harris, tallying four shots with one on goal. Junior Max Kinderwater would notch the only other Owls shot on goal.

Temple wraps up their weekend in Norfolk, taking on tournament host Old Dominion on Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
