ANNAPOLIS, MD - The Temple University golf team tied for 13th out of 17 teams with Iona in the first round of the Navy Fall Golf Classic held at the Naval Academy Golf Club Saturday. The Owls score of 304 was 25 strokes behind first-place Navy (279), but just two strokes out of ninth place.

Senior Eric Plisko led the Cherry and White with 74, to tie for 33rd among the field of 91 golfers in the field. Junior Andrew Mason and redshirt freshman Devin Bibeau each carded a 76 to tie for 47th while junior Joseph Kim (78, tie-65th) and freshman Alex McPherson (89, tie-88th) rounded out the Owls squad.
The Navy Fall Golf Classic will conclude Sunday.
