Rams Brothers Fall in Quarterfinals of ITA Championship Doubles

Duo falls to second-seeded pair in tie breaker, 9-8(3)

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Junior Filip Rams and his brother, sophomore Kacper Rams, represented the Temple men's tennis team into Saturday's doubles bouts at the ITA Regional Championship. The tournament is being held at the University of Virginia on Wednesday-Friday, October 20-24, 2010.


Rams and Rams narrowly missed advancing to the semifinals when they came up against second-seeded Ivan Salec and Thomas Dehaen of Radford in the quarterfinals. The siblings put up all they had before succumbing in the tiebreaker, 9-8(3).

 

The Owls men's tennis team has completed the fall portion of its schedule and will begin play in the spring championship season at the VCU Invite on January 29-30, 2011.
